Maximilian J Mavrovic AIA, Principal
An accomplished, award-winning architect, Maximilian J Mavrovic AIA is the design visionary behind hundreds of millions of dollars in construction projects. Charismatic, energetic, and a motivational speaker, he is an intensely focused professional whose reputation stands on his design quality and attention to detail. His sound business practices have earned him a position as a respected leader in the architectural industry. He is honest and fair with clients and contractors alike. This high level of professionalism facilitates the continual growth of his practice through new commissions, repeat business, and numerous referrals.
Mr. Mavrovic graduated from the Carnegie Mellon University College of Fine Arts School of Architecture in 1983. Before establishing his own design firm in 1993, Max successfully served as the Vice President for two of the largest architectural firms in Pittsburgh. His related professional work experience includes structural building foundations and steel superstructure engineering, site grading and utilities, and landscape architecture. This unique experience gives him a strong understanding of building system design, site development, and infrastructure, and the holistic interrelationships between them. As an active member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the AIA Pennsylvania (AIAPA), the AIA Government Affairs Committee (GAC), and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB), Mr. Mavrovic offers his perspective to further the profession. Max is professionally licensed to practice architecture in Pennsylvania and several other states, and holds his national certification as a LEED Accredited Professional specializing in efficient energy design.
