Lenape Heights
Project Description
A European corporation contacted Mavrovic Architects PC after they purchased a weary golf course in close proximity to its U.S. manufacturing facility. The golf course was seen as a local investment that could revitalize the community and offer resort-like accommodations for traveling employees. The master plan included a new boutique hotel that would be designed in European style.
The hotel was carefully sited on the golf course, giving spectacular views. To compliment the beauty of the surrounding greens, all twenty spacious guest rooms were designed with operable windows, and the corner suites have walk-out balconies. The exterior cladding included rough-cut and sawn stone and stucco, and then canopied with a villa-like sloping roof. The three story hotel offers a modern lobby, an international library, golfer locker rooms, a private bar, and indoor and outdoor dining areas. The investment paid off, bringing life back to the community through elegant architecture and planning.
